Like a Monkey in a Cage

They say that the eyes are the windows to the soul, and that is true of animal as well as man. When you look into the eyes of a friendly dog, it seems to be begging you to play, while if you stare into the eyes of a cat, it looks back with cool indifference. Animals have feelings and personalities just like humans, and if we would only heed our eyes, we’d see how close our worlds really are.
